The European Space Agency (ESA) and the Norwegian Space Centre (NSC) go on tour to Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim to talk about student and career opportunities in space. Have you ever dreamed of becoming an astronaut or rocket scientist, wanted to fight global warming with Earth-observation satellites or wondered how someone from a small country can take part in Humanity’s journey to the stars? Look no further!
During this event, you’ll learn about a plethora of opportunities that can lead to a career in the space sector or serve as a springboard to other career paths. ESA will talk about their internships and Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) positions. You’ll also be informed about relevant summer courses and other exciting possibilities. FFI will present their RIMFAX instrument going to Mars with NASA in 2020, and IDEAS will talk about their exciting space projects.
UiO will also tell us about their space activities.
At 17:00, there will be free pizza for those who want to keep mingling and discussing.
The event is free, and students, PhDs and professionals from all disciplines and nationalities are welcome! Please click attend if you plan to go, so we know how much pizza to order.
