Basert på Victor Hugo sin roman (med samme navn), tar Les Misérables oss med inn i 1800-tallets Frankrike der en gryende revolusjon skaper bakteppet for en uforglemmelig historie om selvoppofrelse, kjærlighet og lidenskap.
Med sin gripende historie og kjente og kjære sanger som "I Dreamed A Dream", "On My Own", "Bring Him Home", og "One Day More» har Les Misérables har blitt en av de mest avholdte musikalene i teaterhistorien, og engasjerer fremdeles både publikum og kritikere verden over.

Musikalen fremføres på norsk.
Varighet: Ca 3 timer inkludert pause.
Forestillingen inneholder enkelte dramatiske scener med bl. a. pyrotekniske effekter. Det anbefales at barn går i følge med voksne.

Vi får en del spørsmål om anbefalt aldersgrense på Les Misérables. Avhengig av om barnet er vant til å gå på teater og har interesse for det osv, vil vi ikke anbefale å ta med barn under 7 år på Les Miserables. Folketeateret har en generell nedre aldersgrense på 3 år uavhengig av forestilling.
