6th March 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of independence for our beloved country Ghana. Consequently, Ghana Union Norway wishes to invite you to celebrate this significant day with us with a grand event in Oslo. The event kick starts with Ghanaian cultural dance such as Adowa and Kpalongo, performed with live drum music. Performing live at this event is Stonebwoy. Stonebwoy is a multiple award-winning artist that was crowned ‘Best International Act’ at the 2015 BET Awards, where he beat the likes of Wizkid, Sarkodie and Yemi Alade, will headline the musical performance at this event. Stonebwoy is one of Africa’s most popular music exports, with hits such as “Pull Up”, “Mightylele” and “Go Higher”. Also performing this evening is Wisa Greid with the hit single “Ekiki me”, Bright and KgPM. The host for the night is the experienced radio personality and organizer of AfroBOAT in UK, The PM. Mabel Tettey will be the co-host.
