The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra har med seg Tsjekkias toppmusikere til Oslo Konserthus for å framføre et ekstraordinært show. Dirigenten Friedmann Riehle er en rocke-symfoni-ekspert og vil presentere de største milepælene i rockehistorien pakket inn i flotte symfoniarrangementer. Han har turnert Europa rundt med denne konserten, blant annet to ganger i Wien. Rock the Opera kombinerer styrken, originaliteten og atmosfæren i originallåtene med symfoniorkesterets vakre spill. Dette gir låtene en ny dimensjon og man opplever musikken på nytt.
