Learn to LOOP! An introduction to animating in Photoshop

About the course

This is a technical and tool specific course where you will learn tips and tricks that will allow you to work with Photoshop as an animation tool. We'll cover the basics of the timeline and some drawing and coloring techniques to get you started giving life to your illustrations. We will also look at some nice plugins to speed up your workflow, and get hands on with some examples that will help you understand some basic principles of animation. This course will mainly be focused around short animated loops, but it will give a foundation to further experiment to bigger projects.
About Jonas

Jonas Bødtker is an illustrator and motion graphics designer working at Racecar animation studio in Oslo.
He is educated at the Bergen Academy of Art&Design with a BA in Visual Communication. Jonas worked as a videographer and motion designer at NRK before joining Racecar in 2014. He has a strong interest rooted in illustration, but a curiosity for most visual fields. His interest in drawing mixed with filming and editing skate videos, made him end up working with motion graphics and animation. He is a member of several art-related collectives on his free time, and has a genuine love for Moleskine sketchbooks.
