Sauna session - Women's Edition

Have a pleasant evening in one of the world’s largest saunas with a temperature of 60-80°C, a perfect location for a nice slow cook. It seats up to a hundred people, so expect a social Sauna. When you are ready, play with fire in the 7000 liter aquavit barrel. Our Sherry Cask that was used to produce Aquavit for 100 years before it got a new spark and got converted to a 8-10 person sauna. It’s usually 90-120°C, and is potentially the hottest sauna at SALT. It is operated by the guests, and the rule is if you water the oven, sit it out. We want it hot, but no drive-by steaming.

There is a new second small electric sauna available in the next barrel over, but it is a work in progress while we wait for more available power so we can enable both heat elements.
When it all gets too hot to handle, take a dip in our two cold water barrels or take a cold shower (There is a hot shower too!).In addition, we provide a fully licensed bar in Àrdna, a cocktail menu and a plethora of both sweet and salty snacks. We appreciate it if you bring your own padlock. You can bring your own towels or rent a towel in the bar for 50,-. Wardrobes are usually in Langhuset, but location can vary depending on events. New, permanent ones are being built right outside Àrdna.

Our sauna members (650,-, buy membership at SALT!) and children under 15 get 50% off the entry price. International and national students 100,-. Valid student identification must be shown at the reception.

Children under 7 may enter for free.

All discounted tickets must be bought from the reception during opening hours for sauna sessions.
